Our People

Diversity

Aston Group welcomes a diverse workforce and values differences in its employees, sub-contractors and supply chain. We promote an environment free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

We strive to employ a diverse workforce because we believe that diversity is something to value and encourage. Decisions relating to employment practices will be free from bias and based solely upon job criteria and individuals skills and knowledge.

Diversity adds to our business in so many ways, it enables us to provide the best service to our clients and to work more closely within local communities.

Our commitment to diversity is long standing and has attracted praise, and awards, from inside and outside our industry.

Apprenticeships

Our belief in the importance of diversity is matched by our commitment and enthusiasm for recruiting and training apprentices.

Attracting and upskilling young people is vital to the long term performance and prospects of the building services sector, so every year Aston Group invests in an active apprenticeship scheme which offers supervised working and day release NVQ training at local colleges.

Training

We are committed to deliver results by investing in the continuous professional development of our employees. We deliver on this commitment by developing individual training plans which ensures all our staff are trained to the highest possible standards.

Our success and our ability to exceed our clients expectations by providing them with the highest possible quality of service, is down to the dedication, professionalism, skills and capability of our engineers, operatives and employees. One result of this investment in our people is a site based workforce that is 100% CSCS accredited and Site Supervisors and Managers that are SSSTS and SMSTS accredited.
